Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide intake assessments, ethical and psychologically sound individual counseling, couples counseling, potentially providing group therapy, telehealth, and crisis intervention.
- Pursue opportunities for further professional development, including completion of “supervised practice” hours and preparation for licensing exam.
- Engage in professional development opportunities that have an emphasis on increasing multicultural and social justice awareness and address working with diverse and marginalized populations.
Position Qualifications:
- Licensed or Licensed Eligible Psychologist in the State of Kansas.
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D.) in clinical or counseling psychology.
- Training and experience serving diverse client populations.
- Open to working with and serving traditionally underserved communities, including but not limited to BiPOC clients, clients who identify as LGBTQ+, military-affiliated persons and veterans.
- Must pass a thorough background check.
- Working knowledge/understanding of diagnosing and diagnostic techniques.
- Understanding of and the ability to perform evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Commitment to operating with high standards of professional practice and ethical care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must obtain and maintain individual professional liability insurance through the duration of the contract agreement
